50X Denhardt's solution recipe
A blocking solution that stops probes sticking non-specifically to membranes during hybridisation. 50X = 1% each of Ficoll 400, PVP and BSA.

Steps
- Dissolve slowly in water (do not shake the BSA).
- Bring to the final volume with water.
- Filter, aliquot and store at −20 °C.
