Why this test?
Reading p-values
The p-value is the probability of seeing a difference this large by chance if there were really no difference. p < 0.05 is usually treated as unlikely to be chance (significant). A small p-value does not mean a big effect — look at the size of the difference (mean difference, %) too. Not significant (ns) does not mean “no difference”; it means this experiment could not confirm one.
