IC50 and curve terms
IC50: the concentration that halves cell viability. Smaller means a more potent drug. 95% confidence interval: the range where the true IC50 is likely to be. Narrower is more precise. Hill slope: how steeply the curve falls. Usually between 0.5 and 3. R²: how well the curve passes through the points (closer to 1 is better). The value at the middle of the curve (halfway between top and bottom) is the usual (relative) IC50; the concentration giving exactly 50% viability is called the absolute IC50.
