1. Files and results

Files you load, results and anything you type never leave your browser; the site’s Content Security Policy blocks outgoing transfers. "Save project" files are stored only on your own computer.

2. Stored in your browser

Your language choice, a few input options and recently typed protein names are kept only in your browser’s local storage. They are never sent to a server and can be cleared at any time by deleting site data in your browser.

3. Visit statistics

To improve the service we use Cloudflare Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated statistics (pages visited, referrer, country, device and browser type). It uses no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information.

4. Feedback

"Feedback" opens a Google Form. We collect only what you write and, if you want a reply, the email address you choose to leave, and use it only to reply and improve the service. Google Forms is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising and cookies

This site may show Google AdSense ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings and opt out of third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

We do not place ads on the analysis tool pages, so no ad code runs where your lab data is displayed.

6. Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosting and visit statistics. Standard server logs (IP address, request time) may be recorded when you visit.
• jsDelivr — serves the open-source libraries used for Excel, PowerPoint and TIFF handling. Technical information such as your IP address may be sent when the files load.

7. Contact and changes

Send privacy questions through the feedback form. Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
